Dear Editor,

I am the luckiest guy this year at the best car show in the west, Cache Valley Cruise In!

When I bought a ticket on that Thursday we weren’t even sure we would stop back in on Saturday when the drawing is held. My friend from high school Doug Porter (he graduated from Sky View) and I were on a motorcycle ride for that weekend. Long story short, we happened to come back to the show and attend the drawing. My ticket was called first and as I read the numbers I knew I had won and yelled out!

My buddy Doug said, “Dave that’s a bad joke and you could get us beat up,” as he thought I was kidding.

The car is a wonderful silver Chevy Z28 Camaro. I love it!

I want to give the Biggest THANK YOU!!! possible. It takes a lot of wonderful volunteers to pull this event off every year and I want to thank them for their dedication to the experience of stepping back in time for a wonderful weekend. Old muscle cars are part of our Americana history. Also the sponsors deserve a huge thankyou as well!

The car I won is 50 years old and it makes me feel like a high school kid again in a fun nostalgic way. Hats off to everyone that keeps this part of history alive.

Cache Valley you are the greatest!

Sincerely, Dave Radford. A Happy Happy camper from Eastern Idaho.
